Near the water, corrosion is the other recurring theme. Outdoor receptacles, exterior fixtures, and service equipment in Stony Creek, Indian Neck, and Short Beach take salt air continuously, and weather-rated is not the same as coastal-rated. Standby generator installs have also become common here after repeated storm outages.
